การแจ้งเหตุเพลิงไหม้จะกระทำโดยอุปกรณ์แจ้งเตือนเพลิงไหม้ ซึ่งจะทำงานเมื่อได้รับสัญญาณจากตู้ควบคุมระบบแจ้งเหตุเพลิงไหม้แล้วทำการแจ้งเตือนบุคลากรในพื้นที่ด้วยแสงและ/หรือเสียงเป็นหลัก โดยระดับความดังของเสียงและความเข้มของแสงจากอุปกรณ์จะต้องเป็นไปตามมาตรฐานสากลเพื่อให้บุคลากรรับทราบเหตุได้ชัดเจน ซึ่งอุปกรณ์ที่ไฟร์เทรด เอ็นจิเนียริ่งเป็นตัวแทนจำหน่ายหลักเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ของ System Sensor ในเครือ Honeywell ซึ่งอุปกรณ์ล้วนได้รับมาตรฐานสากลเช่น UL และ/หรือ FM

Alerting personnel of fire incident is done via indicating device which activate when receiving signal from the fire alarm control panel before alerting with light and/or sound. The sound level and light intensity must comply with international standards to ensure that personnel will be alerted.
