อุปกรณ์ตรวจจับชนิดนี้เป็นการอาศัยอุปกรณ์ตรวจจับความร้อนที่ย่อส่วนให้เหลือขนาดเพียงแค่ชิปฝังไว้ในสายไฟเส้นหนึ่งเป็นระยะห่างตามที่กำหนด โดยชิปตรวจจับความร้อนจะถูกหุ้มด้วยฉนวนป้องกันคลื่นรบกวนและทนอุณหภูมิสูง ตัวตรวจจับความร้อนทุกตัวจะสามารถระบุตำแหน่งและตั้งค่าเกณฑ์การตรวจจับเป็นกลุ่มได้ โดยจะตรวจวัดทั้งอุณหภูมิและการแผ่รังสีความร้อนทำให้การตรวจจับทำได้อย่างรวดเร็ว อุปกรณ์จึงเหมาะสมจะติดตั้งในพื้นที่ยากแก่การเข้าถึงเช่นในอุโมงค์ หรือสายพานลำเลียงในโรงงาน ทางไฟร์เทรด เอ็นจิเนียริ่งเป็นตัวแทนจำหน่ายอุปกรณ์รุ่น List จาก Securiton ซึ่งได้รับการรับรองมาตรฐาน VdS

This detection device is a miniaturized heat detector into a small chip embedded inside a cable wire at predetermined interval. The cable was insulated to protect the detectors against environment and resist fire. Each detector chip is addressable and can be separate in group based on alarm criteria to suit each area. The detector use temperature sensing and radiation heat to detect fire, resulting in quick response time. This make the device suitable for installation in hard to reach area such as tunnel or conveyer belt inside the factory.
