กล้องตรวจจับเพลิงไหม้นั้นจะอาศัยระบบวิเคราะห์ประมวลผลภาพในการตรวจจับเพลิงไหม้และควันจากเพลิงไหม้ไปพร้อมๆ กับสามารถใช้ในการตรวจสอบดูแลสถานที่เพื่อป้องกันผู้บุกรุกและบันทึกเหตุการณ์สำหรับตรวจสอบย้อนหลังได้ โดยทางไฟร์เทรด เอ็นจิเนียริ่ง ได้เป็นตัวแทนจำหน่ายกล้องตรวจจับเพลิงไหม้จาก Fike Corporation ซึ่งเป็นกล้องตรวจจับเพลิงไหม้ที่ได้รับการรับรองจาก UL, FM, และ CE Approved
Fire detection camera utilize an algorithm to analyze the captured picture to recognize a fire and smoke alongside the ability to detect intrusion by unwanted personnel and recording the events for review.
